Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium
This Summer saw the opening of London's first Cat Café. Cat Café's first became popular in Japan which is now home to over 40 cat cafés. The concept proved very popular there due to the built up nature of the city and the lack of space to keep animals. They provide a place for cat lover's to mingle and meet with various breeds of cats (usually shelter cats) and enjoy tea and a slice of cake while also giving treats to the cats!
Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium aims to provide feline companionship for those that can not have a cat due to factors such as living arrangements or work commitments. Patrons pay a cover fee to enter the café and they are free to interact with the cats, using both toys and treats.
Lady Dinah's house's rescue cats from shelter's. They provide a wonderfully homely environment for these lucky kitties who lounge on over stuffed arm chairs, play with a multitude of toys or explore their high rise play area when they want time away from the patrons.
Lady Dinah's proves to be more than a novelty attraction, it is a genuinely comforting respite from the hustle and bustle of a London visit. It gives visitors to the city a chance to relax in a homely atmosphere with fun and fluffy company!
