2018 World Cup Travel Preview: Group B 19/06/2018

The 2018 FIFA World Cup is here!!!

Over the course of the next two weeks, we will be previewing the listings that we provide throughout the different countries that are playing in the world cup. Here are the countries that are playing in Group B:

Lisboa the coastal capital of Portugal. The Sao Jorge Castle delivers a beautiful view of the thousands of old city's pastel-colored buildings on the hillside, and the Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge nearby. It also has a string of Atlantic beaches ranging from Cascais to Estoril. The city is filled with small cobblestone winding streets and a ton of hidden gems of stores and restaurants throughout the city, making it perfect to explore by foot or by taking their old-fashioned tram system.

Hotel Santa Justa

Situated in the historic and commercial centre of Lisbon. Our location is one of the most notable gains of this emblematic building of downtown Lisboa (the old Lanalgo Galleries). It is located just 200 meters from the Santa Justa Elevator, the central inspiration of the decor of this unique establishment. In most of the rooms, it is possible to observe an interesting overview of this monumental city area. The Hotel is located in the parallel street to one of the most prestigious commercial streets of the city, Rua Augusta, and 7 km from the airport.

Madrid is Spain's capital in the centre of the country. Plaza Mayor is the main square in the centre of Madrid and is always lively with people, restaurants, and music. Nearby the plaza is the baroque Royal Palace and Armory, which displays historic weaponry of Spain.

Hotel Liabeny

Hotel Liabeny is a modern Madrid hotel, offering its guests all the comfort of a first-class hotel such as cafeteria, restaurant, bar, internet access, room service, gym, sauna, and luggage room. One of the most important external characteristics of the Hotel Liabeny is its privileged location. Being in the heart of the city is an extra attraction for one of Spain's most visited cities. Really, everything is near the hotel: museums, monuments, squares and historic streets. It also provides the opportunity of choosing from between various means of transport to reach places that are relatively off the beaten track.

Casablanca is a port city with a French colonial legacy, as one can tell by its downtown Moresque architecture. The city is the largest is Morocco and is also one of the country's commercial hub, it is even one of the most important cities in Africa, both economically and demographically. The Hassan II Mosque was built right on the coast and is topped with lasers that are directed toward Mecca. The beach-lined coast of the city is also a major summer holiday destination.

Le Trianon Luxury Hotel

Located just a few steps away from the Parc de la Ligue Arabe, Le Trianon Luxury Hotel & Spa enjoys a convenient situation in a small street in the centre of Casablanca. Various consulates are a short stroll away, while major attractions such as the Medina, the Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca Twin Center, Place Mohammed V, and the Cathedral Sacre Coeur can be reached within a short drive. The small, excellent hotel welcomes guests in an ambiance of refined sophistication and traditional hospitality. The elegantly appointed rooms and suites boast a stylish contemporary design.

Tehran is the capital of Iran, located in the northern part of the country. The best way to see the city is from the top of the Milad Tower, offering 360-degree views of the capital. The Sa'dabad Complex is a large, sprawling area that contains a lot of museums, and the president of Iran is located adjacent to the complex. In the Alborz mountains to the north of the city you can find traditional tea houses and hiking trails up to the top of the Kolakchal mountain. Tehran is a populous city in Iran with beautiful scenic mountains surrounding it, it is also a cultural hub with a ton of museum in it and history behind it.

Unfortunately, StayPlanet does not have any listings in Tehran or Iran. Only 11 countries in the world are allowed to visit Iran without a visa, so for most of the world it is not feasible to book a vacation to the Iranian city.
