Bordeaux is the most visited French city after Paris and Marseille: is situated in the southwestern. Bordeaux is known for its wine-growing region because it is the wine capital of the world.

It is the wine museum: take a time to discover the reverse side of winemaking and its history. You can also have a tasting of the wine of your choice if you want. You will be overwhelmed by the architecture of the museum. 

Saint-Andre Cathedral  

 It is the most beautiful religious monument in Bordeaux. It’s situated in the Place Pey Berland. Enter fee: €5,50.


It was inaugurated on April 7, 1780, by Victor Louis who was the architect of the building. It writes its history to the rhythm of the events that punctuate its existence. Today it's still known as one of the most beautiful theaters in the world. 

The Miroir d’eau 

The Miroir d'eau is the world's largest reflecting pool, covering 3,450 square meters. Located on the quay of the Garonne in front of the Place de la Bourse, it was built in 2006. It is made of granite slabs covered by 2 cm of water. 

You can take a boat named BatCub just to go there if you want. 

Things to do 

Do some shopping in Saint-Catherine street, it's a 1.2 km long pedestrian street, is the main shopping street. You can also found the new open-air shopping center named "La Promenade" where there are other shops.  You can go there with your family and friends to have fun and make some sensational attractions

You can go there with your family and friends to have fun and make some sensational attractions. It's near a famous place: La Place des Quinconces.

Bordeaux is a city that you should go once in your life: it's an attractive city so you will not be bored just amazed.
